The Go-Betweens

Description

About the Play: In a sleepy rural French village, the inhabitants prepare to go about their day when the plans for a wedding spin their lethargic lifestyles into a fast-paced, absurd romp. The young people of this traditional hamlet decide that they will go against the wishes of their parents and take the partner of their own choice. Throw in a drunken woodcutter turned physician, a group of clever and meddling servants and a band of nomads into the mix and you have the kind of mayhem worthy of this classical farce. Based on the plays of comic genius Moliere, The Go-Betweens will offer non-stop laughter for your audience.
